- Supervising swimming activites
- Ensuring policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.
- Enforce pool regulations and water saftery policies.

Each year 12 - 15 seasonal staff members are hired for the summer camp season. The primary duties include: instruction of classes, daytime youth supervision, inventory and care of equipment, maintenance of instructional area, and being a positive role model for campers and teens. Other duties staff members are expected to perform on a rotational basis are: meal service, assemblies, recreation supervision, planning and conducting special afternoon recreational activities, evening programs, store, and other assigned duties as directed by the Center or Program Director. All staff work together to provide leadership and a well-run camp week for each camp group. Training is provided.Most camp sessions run from Monday - Friday. Staff members have separate accommodations on site.
Starting salary is $330.00-$500.00 a week, plus room and board. Additional pay for weekend work is available. Housing is available on weekends.

Staff Coordinator/Store Keeper
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Program Director in development of summer staff
- Advise staff
- Act as liaison between staff and Camp Director in the absence of the Program Director
- Coordinate and facilitate programs
- Serve as a leader and role model for all camp participants including staff and campers
- Keeping of the store including stocking

Waterfront Director
Responsibilities:
- Supervision and scheduling of waterfront staff in development and conducting of all waterfront activities including swimming classes, community swimming program, recreational swimming, and canoeing classes and trips
- Maintenance and upkeep of the pool and bathhouse, water quality, and pool sanitation
- Teach camp swim classes

Canoeing/Kayak Instructor
Responsibilities:
- Teach camp canoeing & kayaking classes
- Assist in planning and facilitation of canoeing trips
- Lifeguard at the pool when assigned

Responsibilities:
- Managing the health care program including administering medications

Leather Craft Instructor
Responsibilities:
- Introduce campers to the fun and exciting art of leather crafting
- Teach 4 daily class
- Conduct and supervise afternoon “Open Recreation” activities for all campers interested in leather craft

Performing Arts Instructor

- Teach drama and theatrical arts classes
- Facilitate any special activities dealing with theatrical or performing arts

- An enthusiasm in sharing and working with children
Pay: $330/ week + benefits.
The “TAP” or Teen Apprentice Program, allows teens (rising or graduating seniors) who are interested in becoming future summer camp staff members an opportunity to come back to camp and work as a pseudo-staff member for up to 2 weeks during the summer. Responsibilities will be to help the Instructional Staff with classes, general camp duties, and programming assignments. Your experience as a TAP should enlighten you as to what life as a staff member is like, your potential for leadership development, and the joys of being a positive role model for youth.
